Jiftip: Could This Adhesive Strip Be The Next Condom Alternative?

If you are a man who is about to engage in sexual intercourse, you essentially have two different options. The first is that you go for it without any sort of protection, while the second is that you wear a condom.

If you are looking to avoid unwanted pregnancy and STD’s, then the latter is your only real alternative. At least, that was the case until a new product called the Jiftip arrived on the market.

This new product is being billed as an alternative to the condom, and we believe that this is a rather dangerous claim.

The Jiftip is more like a Band-aid than a condom, as it is nothing more than an adhesive strip that you place over the tip of your penis. The premise here is that this tiny adhesive strip will be able to withstand the torrent of semen that will arrive as you climax.

This seems like a rather unhealthy way to go, especially when you understand that it is considered a bad idea to hold in any fluids that were meant to be naturally expelled by the body, but that is not the real reason for concern here.

We all know that there is a lot of movement and moisture involved in sex, assuming of course that you are doing it right, and we believe that the chances of this little sticker staying in place for the duration seem slim.

It should also be noted that it is not simply the tip of your penis that is the only part of your organ that can accept STD’s. If you go charging in with nothing but a well-placed sticker on your bell-end, there’s a chance you are either going to be taking antibiotics or performing babysitting duty in the not too distant future.

While the folks at Jiftip do say that their product is not to be used to prevent pregnancies and STD’s, those warnings are somewhat buried amid all the hype about this so-called condom alternative.

From what we know about alternative products, they just aren’t as good as the original.

Try having a tofu burger and washing it down with a non-alcoholic beer to get a sense of what we are talking about.

There is simply no two ways about it, condoms are the most effective form of protection available to men.

There are now ultra-thin or custom-fit condoms made by reputable companies on the market that help with the lack of sensation that some guys complain about, so perhaps think about making the switch to those before you try to stop Niagara Falls with a party sticker.
